Our itinerarie range from 1 day to 10 days depending on your needs to enjoy.

Mountain Kilimanjaro Climbing Itineraries

MARANGU ROUTE: - 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

Day 1: Leave Arusha after breakfast and drive to Marangu gate where you will start to ascend to Mandara hut. Dinner and overnight at Mandara Hut.

Day 2: Trek to Horombo Hut with lunch box. Dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.

Day 3: Leave Horombo after breakfast and trek to Kibo Hut with lunch box, dinner and taking a nap at Kibo Hut before starting trek in the mid-night to the summit of Africa.

Day 4: Early start to the summit (12:00 pm), then descend slowly to Horombo Hut. Lunch, dinner and overnight at Horombo Hut.

Day 5: Trek further down from Horombo Hut to Marangu gate proceed to Arusha.

MACHAME ROUTE: - 7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS

Day 1: After breakfast at Hotel transfer to Machame gate with lunch box. Start walk through the rain forest up to Machame Hut have your lunch and proceed to Machame Camp (3000m) (4-5 hrs) walk. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast hike on the rock ridges to Shira Hut (3800m) (5-7hrs). Have picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at Shira Hut campsite.

Day 3: After breakfast, start walking to Barranco Hut to Karanga Valley (4000m) (6-7 hrs) picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight at Karanga campsite.

Day 4: Have a full day staying at Karanga Valley for Acclimatization. It is highly recommended to the first Alpiners over this route.

Day 5: After full relaxation at Karanga Valley early morning after breakfast ascend to Barafu Hut (4800m) (5-6 hrs). Picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Early in the Mid-night after having a light breakfast start hike to the STELLAR point (5865m) then further to the Uhuru Peak (5895m) the Summit of Africa. After that descend slowly to Mweka Campsite. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: After breakfast start walk down to the Mweka Gate. Meet over driver to transfer you to the Hotel for dinner and overnight.

UMBWE ROUTE: - 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

Day 1: After breakfast drive to Kilimanjaro National Park gate at Umbwe for starting the climb. From here hike within the forest through a narrow ridge between Umbwe and Lonzo rivers reach in Bivouac No. 1 (known as Forest Caves at 2850m - Camp, dinner and overnight.

Day 2: The Path continues following the ridge, then leaving the forest through open moorlands to reach Barranco Hut at 395 m. Camp, dinner and overnight.

Day 3: This day starts off with a steep climb out of Barranco valley crossing Karanga Valley and finally reaching Barafu Hut at 4600 m. Camp, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Early morning start to reach the crater rim at Stella point, continuing to Uhuru Peak at 5895 m. Decend to Mweka Camp.

Day 5: The day is spent in descending down to the park gates. Overnight at hotel.

LEMOSHO ROUTE: - 8 DAYS / 7 NIGTHS

Day 1: After breakfast transfer from your hotel to National park forest edge. From here walk through the undisturbed forest to Mti Mkubwa camp site for dinner and overnight. By luck you will be able to see colubus monkeys and signs of elephants.

Day 2: Take your time to walk through the forest sporting some of plentiful game and bird life. You will pass through montane forest and hagenia zone. Dinner and overnight at Shira camp.

Day 3: The hike today is across Shira plateau up the western slope of Kibo Massif. Dinner and overnight at Fisher campsite.

Day 4: After breakfast  hike up LavaTower - The first introduction to the alpine zone. The only plant life being the hardest of grasses and  Lichen. Here you will be able to have a spectacular view of final ascent route up the Western breach.

Day 5: With the Western breach ascent route in view, spend a few hours climbing to the base of the route where you will make a camp near Arrow Glacier.  An afternoon hike further up the route before relaxing in camp will help you acclimatize and improve your performance the next day.

Day 6: Wind your way up the Western Breach non -technical climbing route about six hours to the crater rim. Explore the inner crater and ash pit before to pitching the camp at the crater floor.

Day 7: Summit day. Start your ascent to the summit early enough in the morning  to put on the Summit by 10:00 am. After Uhuru peak descend via Barafu Hut and on down to Mweka Hut camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: It take about 3 to 4 hours to make the descent to the road head. After your lunch bid bye to your porters and transfer to Arusha for dinner and overnight in hotel.

SHIRA ROUTE: - 7 DAYS / 6 NIGHTS

Day 1: Transferred from your hotel Arusha to the Londorossi gate. Trekking for (4 - 5 hours) picnic lunch on the way. Camping for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast start climbing towards the Wilderness Camp for dinner and overnight (4 - 5 hours). Picnic lunch on the way.

Day 3: Early in the Morning after breakfast trek along the circuit of Shira plateau for camping at Shira Hut (3840m).

Day 3: From Shira trek thorough Barranco (3950m) for a late lunch and on to Karanga Valley. Dinner and overnight at Barafu Hut (4600m). (10 - 11 hrs).

Day 4: After breakfast trek across the saddle to Kibo hut campsite (4725m) about (3- 4hrs) picnic lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: This is the day to the Roof of Africa (top) the Uhuru Peak and down to Mweka hut campsite (8 - 9 hrs). Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: From the campsite down to the Mweka gate (3 - 4hrs). Found the driver waiting for you take you back to the hotel.

RONGAI ROUTE: - 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS

Day 1: The climb begins at the village of Nale Moru (1950 mts) through cultivated land before entering the pine forest. Watch out for Kilimanjaro Colobus monkeys in the tree tops with their white fringed 'capes' and tail. Taking 3 - 4 hours the first camp is on the edge of the moorland zone where the forest begins to thin out at First Cave at 8500 ft/2600 m. Overnight 1st Cave Camp.

Day 2: The morning walk is a steady ascent up to Second Cave at 11300 ft/ 3450 m with superb views of Kibo and the eastern ice fields on the crater rim. Pushing on to reach Third Cave taking 3 to 4 hours at 12800 ft/ 3800 m for overnight camp. Dinner and overnight 3rd Cave Camp.

Day 3: Continue ascending on the east side of Kibo crossing the saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo taking 4 to 5 hours to reach Kibo Hut at 15000 ft/ 4700 m. The remainder of the day is spent resting in preparation for the final ascent which begins mid-night. Dinner and rest at Kibo Camp.

Day 4: An early start for the summit on steep heavy screed to arrive at Gilman's Point at 18640 ft/ 5681 m in time to see the sun rise. Those who want to reach the highest point in Africa can take the approximately three hour excursion to Uhuru Peak 19340/ 5895 m passing close to the spectacular glaciers and ice cliffs that still occupy most of the summit area. The descent to Kibo is surprisingly fast and after some refreshment, continue the descent to reach the final campsite at Horombo at 12000 ft/ 3700 m taking 11 to 15 hours. Overnight Horombo Camp.

Day 5: A steady descent down through the moor land to Mandara Hut and then downward through the lush forest on a good path to the National Park gate at Marangu (1830 m) taking 5 to 7 hours to be met and transferred to your Hotel for dinner and overnight.
